Nick Robles

With a childlike sense of curiosity and play, I explore the use of various mediums and mark-making techniques as I look back at my experiences as a first-generation Mexican American. Growing up as a Hispanic child of the 80s and 90s my world was engulfed with bold colors and patterns which continue to influence my work today. As an adult, my work pulls inspiration from graffiti, architecture, and nature to create works that hold the same playful energy of my creative process. I hope that my work brings a blast of color and playfulness into any space.
