Creativity Jumpstart Sketchbook Workshop

Class Description

This class is for anyone who longs to connect with their imagination, strengthen their creative muscle, deepen their intuition, learn some new drawing and watercolor skills and cultivate a creative practice you can do anywhere and anytime. You are all artists and any level is welcome. Unlock your imagination through sketchbook journaling, symbols, and creative exploration. Learn to use a sketchbook as a doorway into the liminal dream world of your own imagination. This workshop invites you to use creativity as a path to self-discovery, growth, and healing. We will use various sketchbook techniques, symbols, and evocative visual prompts to fish into the rich waters of the subconscious and collective unconscious. Each class will revolve around a theme, such as Balance, Change, Cycles of Life, Transformation, and will be accompanied by a tarot archetype, written wisdom, and visual inspiration to help create magical new images. We will learn about various sketchbooks and materials, including watercolor, acrylic paint, collage, and pen and pencil work. Materials included. You will come away with a sketchbook, new skills, and a place to always touch back into yourself This classes theme is Balance. we will learn how to balance color, composition and ourselves.
